ANALYSIS AND CONCLUSION IN LAB REPORTS

Analyze:

*     Analyze will always include a graph of your data if it is data collected as a measurement.

*     Analyze will also include a written analysis, in paragraph form in which you will:

o   Identify trends in your data, and explain why you got the results that you did

o   Discuss any unusual results, possible sources of error,

o   Make suggestions for improving the procedure.

 

Conclusion

State a conclusion which addresses the original question and/or hypothesis and is supported by your results.

Do not simply restate the results explain your conclusions and interpretations of the Results section. How did your results compare with the expected results? What further predictions can be made from the results?
