ANALYSIS AND CONCLUSION IN LAB REPORTS
Analyze will always include a graph of your data if it is data collected as a measurement.
Analyze will also include a written analysis, in paragraph form in which you will:
o Identify trends in your data, and explain why you got the results that you did
o Discuss any unusual results, possible sources of error,
o Make suggestions for improving the procedure.
State a conclusion which addresses the original question and/or hypothesis and is supported by your results.
Do not simply restate the results — explain your conclusions and interpretations of the Results section. How did your results compare with the expected results? What further predictions can be made from the results?
