I was born and raised in Grant County and graduated from GUHS.
We moved back to this area and I began teaching at GU in 2002.
I have a BS in Business Administration and an MTE in Education.
My duties include teaching business and computer classes and FBLA Advisor for the high school.

High School Computers classes are designed to teach students how to become successful in their school career and within the job market. This class covers CIS, Word, Excel and Power Point. Students improve their keying skill and learn how to key and format Reports, Letters/Memos, Tables, Columns. Moving to Excel they learn how to make basic tables, charts, and simple formulas. I teach Junior High Computers and Academic Success. In computers we cover basic keyboarding skills, CIS, Power Point, and maybe some web design or Publisher. In Academic Success students will work through the web based curriculum that will guide them in learning how to study. Students will listen to videos, read the book, and take quizes and tests. I have spent over two years working with a core group of teachers to develop some college courses that can be delivered at the high school level. These courses are in the Technology area and are tied directly to TVCC's Technology degrees. This provides a great opportunity and start for students who are interested in persuing a career in Technology.
